What is Level Up?
Level the Playing Field, Level Up Lives!
Level Up is a multifaceted initiative aimed at reducing the achievement gap in education by providing critical resources and opportunities to students from underserved communities and to schools with a high population of students from low-income backgrounds. This initiative focuses on addressing the root causes of this gap, through a combination of direct student support and school-wide interventions to enhance the overall quality of education through scholarships, facilities refurbishment, access to quality learning materials, mentorship and tutoring services for students who need additional academic support and supporting teacher training programs. By improving educational environments and offering financial support, the campaign aims to empower students to achieve their full academic potential and narrow the performance disparity.
Objectives of the Project:
- Close the achievement gap by providing scholarships and access to learning materials for students in underserved communities.
- Refurbish and upgrade schools in lower socio-economic areas to create a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Offer tutoring, mentorship, and supplemental educational programs to help students improve academic performance.
- Create sustainable educational improvements that benefit future generations through partnerships with local stakeholders.
